- A register of practitioners who speak Tamil, verified by the federation against the regulator that licensed them.
- A way to ask one of them for a consultation by video, phone or written message.
- Matched to the country you will be in, because that is where the law that governs the consultation applies.
What it is not
- Not an emergency service. Nothing here is watched around the clock.
- Not a prescription service. What a practitioner can prescribe remotely is decided by their regulator, not by us.
- Not a medical record. We hold your request to meet, not your history, and never your notes.

Why we ask which country you are in.
In telemedicine the practitioner has to be licensed where the patient is at the time of the consultation — not where the practitioner lives. A doctor registered in Ontario cannot lawfully consult a patient sitting in Paris. So the register you see is the one for your country, and a request to anyone else is refused before it is sent.
