What this is, and what it is not.

What it is

  • A register of practitioners who speak Tamil, verified by the federation against the regulator that licensed them.
  • A way to ask one of them for a consultation by video, phone or written message.
  • Matched to the country you will be in, because that is where the law that governs the consultation applies.

What it is not

  • Not an emergency service. Nothing here is watched around the clock.
  • Not a prescription service. What a practitioner can prescribe remotely is decided by their regulator, not by us.
  • Not a medical record. We hold your request to meet, not your history, and never your notes.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Say where you will be

    The country decides who may lawfully see you: a practitioner licensed there, and nobody else.

  2. A safety check first

    A short list of things a call cannot help with. Tick one and you are given the emergency number, not a doctor.

  3. Ask a licensed practitioner

    By video, phone or written message. They accept or decline; nothing is booked until they do.

If you are not sure of the number where you are, 112 reaches emergency services from a mobile in most countries and is forwarded to the local service.
